At Hakone Gora Park (Gora, Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture), the sandwich restaurant “Isshikido Sarou” in the park will be offering “Rose Afternoon Tea,” a set of tea, sandwiches, and sweets, in May. It will be on sale for a limited time from the 11th. For sweets, we changed our popular homemade scones to a rose flavor for the first time, giving them a pink and cute appearance. Around the red cassis cake and strawberry glass cake in the center, in addition to blueberries and kiwi fruits, damask rose jelly is scattered on the plate to resemble sparkling jewels, giving the image of a gorgeous rose garden in the park.
In the rose garden in the park, spring roses will begin to bloom and will be at their best in late May. Take this opportunity to enjoy an elegant tea time with spring roses.

It is Japan’s first French-style formal garden, opened in 1914 in Gora, the terminal station of the Hakone Tozan Train. A French-style formal garden is a large, flat site with fountains and other structures arranged symmetrically and geometrically.
Although Gora Park is unique, it is built on a slope.
A variety of flowers are planted in the open garden surrounded by the wide sky and mountains, making it a famous flower spot.
There are also facilities such as a tropical plant museum, a tea room, and an experience workshop, so it is attractive that you can experience a variety of things at once.
