The Kirin Group has identified “ICT that accelerates value creation” as one of the organizational capabilities to realize innovation in its long-term management plan, Kirin Group Vision 2027. As part of our efforts to achieve this goal, we have been implementing Kirin DX Dojo, a unique DX human resource development program for Kirin Group employees since July 2021. We are committed to developing human resources who have the ability to envision and realize change. A total of over 1,800 people have attended Kirin DX Dojo, but the number of applications continues to exceed the number of applicants each year. Additionally, amidst the need to respond to the evolution of technology, including the recent rapid penetration of generative AI, employees’ needs for learning digital technology are increasing and diversifying at a faster pace than expected.
Against this background, as part of Kirin Group’s measures to further strengthen company-wide DX human resource development, IDemy has started offering online DX learning “Aidemy Business” from May 10, 2024. It will be used in the 2024 “Kirin DX Dojo” white belt and black belt courses as content for acquiring literacy, including not only data and technology but also the mind and stance such as “Why do we work on DX?” Approximately 1,200 people have started taking the course, with applications from throughout the group being sought. Idemy not only provides tools, but also supports the Kirin Group’s DX promotion by proposing optimal curricula that combine over 230 learning courses and proposing measures to continue learning according to the learning status of employees.
