Heiwado Co., Ltd. (Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture, Representative Director, President and Executive Officer: Masashi Hiramatsu) donated 31 basketball balls to the Hikone City Board of Education in support of the “Lakes Basketball Donation Project” implemented by Shiga Lakes. So I would like to inform you.

This project is part of Shiga Lakes’ SDGs efforts, and in light of the current situation where basketballs wear out after years of use and it is difficult to replace them with new balls on a limited budget, this project is a collaboration with local companies. Basketballs will be donated to elementary and junior high schools in Shiga Prefecture. For the third time, we donated 31 basketballs with the Shiga Lakes and Heiwado logos in sizes for elementary school students and junior high school students. The handed out basketballs will be delivered to public elementary and junior high schools in Hikone City through the Hikone City Board of Education.

[About Shiga Lakes]
Shiga Lakes is a professional basketball team belonging to B.LEAGUE whose hometown is Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture. Since the 2016-17 season, he has participated in Japan’s top men’s professional basketball league, “B.LEAGUE.” The company operates under the corporate philosophy of “Creating a prosperous society through sports and becoming the pride of Shiga Prefecture.”
