[For local government officials and creators] Free seminar “Art Content and Regional Development Series” has started! The theme of the first session on May 30th (Thursday) is “Content creators change the region”

On Thursday, May 30th, Creek & River Co., Ltd. (C&R) will invite local businesses, local government officials, content creators, content companies, etc. who are interested in regional development using art and content. We will be holding a free online seminar “Art Contents and Regional Development Series Vol. 1 – Content Creators Change the Region – Listening to Independent Director Mikio Sugiura”. *

Recently, regional development measures that utilize cultural policies and content have been attracting attention in regions and local governments across the country. However, many people may be concerned that it is difficult to explain the results of cultural policies and that there is a large gap in knowledge and understanding between local government officials and local residents who promote cultural policies. Therefore, C&R is starting a seminar series aimed at local government officials who are working on cultural policy for the first time, as well as creators and companies who are worried about how to propose content to local governments.
In this series, independent director Mikio Sugiura welcomes a variety of guests who are active on the front lines of art and culture each time, and talks about the formulation of cultural policies based on the effects of regional development and relationships with the government. We will explain the introduction, evaluation, etc. For the first time, we will invite Yasushi Adachi, a game producer involved in various regional development projects, as a guest, and through a discussion with Mr. Sugiura, we will think together about how content creators can change regions. This content is aimed at local government officials, content creators, companies, and arts and culture organizations who wish to make proposals to the government. Please feel free to join us.
