Although Tonalism was a venture founded by Shinkawa alone, it achieved sales of 3.1 billion yen in the fiscal year ending March 2022 and 4.3 billion yen in the fiscal year ending March 2023. Shinkawa worked for a foreign semiconductor trading company for six years before becoming independent. Throughout his career as a top salesman, he was in charge of important domestic and international customers. Based on the network, experience, and sales capabilities cultivated there, we have been able to reliably secure semiconductors and meet customer needs even during the coronavirus pandemic, when the supply and demand for semiconductors was tight.
Explanation of industry trends Rapid increase in followers, weekly magazine coverage
Shinkawa opened an X account in January 2024. When I posted about corporate restructuring and growth prospects in the industry, the number of followers, mainly individual investors, increased by over 900 people in one day. The impetus was in April 2024, when a comment was made on news regarding the business integration of a major semiconductor trading company. Although the content was a simple explanation of the impact of business integration on the industry and the characteristics and strengths of rival trading companies, Shinkawa himself was very surprised by the high response. Since then, my followers have increasingly asked me for explanations when there is news related to the semiconductor industry.
