Co-President and Executive Officer: Koichi Iwami) released a triple tap that increases the number of outlets from one outlet to three and allows plugs to be inserted from three directions, the front and both sides, so that the plugs do not interfere with each other. The new product will be released from the middle of the year.

■Equipped with a built-in lightning surge absorption element that is effective in preventing damage to electronic equipment during lightning strikes.
■Equipped with an element (varistor) with a surge current capacity of 1200A/1 time, 600A/2 times, and a limiting voltage of 775Vmax (10A 8/20μs), which protects connected equipment by absorbing lightning surges caused by induced lightning.
*Even if it is a direct lightning strike or induced lightning, if a lightning surge that exceeds the allowable value of the element occurs, it may not be possible to protect the connected equipment. Also, performance deteriorates depending on the voltage and number of times it is applied.

■The blade holder on the inside of the insertion port is 0.8mm thick, making it difficult to deform. Even after repeated insertion and removal, the plug’s holding power does not deteriorate easily, and heat generation at the socket is suppressed.
■A double-layered casing with highly flame-retardant ABS resin on the outside and thermosetting resin (urea resin) on the inside. It is difficult to melt in the event of heat generation, making it effective in preventing electrical fires.
■The power plug has thermosetting resin between the plug blades, which is effective in preventing tracking phenomenon that can cause fire, and is equipped with an insulating sleeve to reduce the risk of electric shock.
