[Crowdfunding underway] A special event will be held to bring the magic of music to local children by Grammy Award-winning artist and world-famous percussionist Keita Ogawa!

A special event to bring the magic of music to local children by Keita Ogawa, a drummer and percussionist from Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture [Music for
Children ~Toy Cha Cha Cha~] has been decided to be held. Crowdfunding has started on Sasebo City’s special website.
This project is an event that brings the magic of music to local children through the performances of Keita Ogawa, a world-renowned jazz percussionist from Sasebo, and looks back on his life with photos, with a focus on percussion performances.
The event will take place in the second half of May at kindergartens, nursery schools, elementary schools, and high schools, with Keita Ogawa performing in front of the children. We will show you
instruments and playing methods from around the world that you have never seen before, as well as world-class JAZZ techniques.
Art For Children was held at Sasebo Fifth Avenue in February this year. SASEBO] was held to provide children with the wonders of live art.
Through art (music), we aim to brighten children’s futures and help them realize their own creative potential. Through performances and stories of their experiences, we encourage free thinking and expression, and foster the ability to generate new ideas. That’s what I’m aiming for.
