Regarding the opening of “Miyagi University Cheers Farm”
*Aeon 1% Club Public Interest Incorporated Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) is a public interest incorporated foundation, with the cooperation of Miyagi University, a public university corporation.
We will open the “Miyagi University Cheers Farm” at Tsubonuma Farm (Numayama, Tsubonuma, Taihaku Ward, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture). * “Miyagi University Cheers Farm” is the second “Aeon Cheers Farm” after opening “Ushiku Cheers Farm” at Aeon Ibaraki Ushiku Farm in Ibaraki Prefecture in April 2023.
This is a farm exclusively for Cheers Club.
For more than 30 years, our foundation has been providing support for the healthy upbringing of children, friendship and friendship with other countries, and local communities, based on an amount equivalent to 1% of the profits generated by customers using the Aeon Group. We are engaged in environmental and social contribution activities, with our main business areas being “contributing to the development of the world” and “disaster recovery support.”

At the Cheers Club, we hold experiential programs on the theme of the environment and social contribution at approximately 400 Aeon Group stores nationwide, mainly for elementary school students, as a place to develop an interest in nature and the environment and the ability to think. I am.
The purpose of this program is for children to experience the difficulty and joy of growing crops by experiencing management work such as sowing seeds, planting seedlings, weeding, and harvesting, and to systematically learn about agriculture. At the Miyagi University Cheers Farm, we plan to cultivate crops through a total of four activities.
