“High school student restaurant” opens for one day only at Japan’s first zero energy hotel “ITOMACHI HOTEL 0”!

ITOMACHI HOTEL 0, Japan’s first zero-energy hotel operated by GOODTIME Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Junya Akeyama), opened on May 24th as a collaboration project with Ehime Prefectural Saijo Agricultural High School. “High school student restaurant” will be held only on Sunday (Friday).

It will be held for one day only. Please enjoy a special menu designed by the students for this day using rice and vegetables grown by the students.
Business hours: 11:30-14:00 (13:30 last order)
Venue: RECEPTION CAFE (inside ITOMACHI HOTEL 0)
Menu: Three kinds of mountain fruits (bracken, fuki, bamboo shoots) / Turnip stuffed with meat / Okara croquette and fava beans with white dressing / Rice cooked with edamame and ginger / Spinach chiffon cake *Advance reservations can be made by phone (TEL: 0897-47-7568). *We will resume normal business hours after 20 meals are sold out. To commemorate our 1st anniversary, we are offering a 1st anniversary accommodation plan to express our gratitude to the local community and guests. In preparation for the next 2nd anniversary, we have also begun offering a lunch menu and cafe lounge service for guests to enjoy the pleasures of Ehime and Saijo.

About ITOMACHI HOTEL 0
Saijo City in Ehime Prefecture is home to Mt. Ishizuchi, the highest peak in western Japan, and where clear water gushes out from artesian wells called “Uchinuki.” ITOMACHI HOTEL 0 is Japan’s first zero-energy hotel built in Saijo, known as the City of Water. We are the first hotel in Japan (*1) to obtain the “ZEB” certification (*2) specified by the Ministry of the Environment, and by equipping the building with energy saving and energy creation functions at the same time, we have achieved virtually zero electricity consumption. We operate hotels. Just as people’s diverse activities have been born by accessing water and benefiting from nature, the hotel will create a new cycle by implementing environmental initiatives starting with zero energy, and will spread the richness of Saijo and, by extension, Ehime.
