Developed unique spinning technology to turn various resins into nanofibers ROKI Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, President and CEO: Takaya Shimada) has developed a technology to turn various resins into nanofibers using a manufacturing method different from conventional technology.
Using this technology, it is possible to spin various resins, create cotton-like nanofiber nonwoven fabrics, and set arbitrary fiber diameters. In the future, we will develop products as functional nonwoven fabrics that are optimal for various uses.

– Spinning with any fiber diameter
– Non-woven fabrics made from various resins

– Spinning with functionalized resin
[Technology usage example]
1. Polyimide nonwoven fabric
In addition to polyimide’s excellent heat resistance, low
dielectricity, and chemical stability, it also has excellent flexibility, air permeability, impregnability, etc.
Adding characteristics
– Improving charging characteristics of separators for secondary batteries (LFP-SiO) (under joint research with National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology)
– Improved flexibility, heat resistance, and heat dissipation of base materials for high-frequency boards
– Achieves filtration in high temperature processes
2. Water-soluble polymer (under joint research with Keio University) Can be applied to a wide range of applications due to improved strength and durability of the water-soluble polymer film
