A blockbuster movie with a production cost of 1.2 billion yen that recreates the world of the monumental British science fiction novel H.G. Wells’ original work with the latest images is available on the official YouTube of the Prime Video channel “Cinephile WOWOW Plus”, a distribution service for Amazon Prime members. All 4 episodes of “War of the Worlds [dubbed version]” will be released for free every Wednesday at 6pm starting May 15th (Wednesday)! Also, on June 10th (Monday), a video summarizing all episodes will be released for free for 2 weeks only!
Classic science fiction novels that have been made into films many times, such as the classic science fiction movie “War of the Worlds (1953)” and the hit film “War of the Worlds (2005)” directed by Steven Spielberg and Tom Cruise, are adapted from “Doctor Who”. Peter Harness, who worked on the film, wrote the screenplay and made it into a TV drama. Eleanor Tomlinson (Alice in Wonderland, Colette), Rafe Spall (Prometheus, Jurassic World), Robert Carlyle (Trainspotting, The World Is Not) A gorgeous cast of actors, including “Enough”) and Rupard Graves (“Maurice,” “SHERLOCK”), play the roles of people suffering at the mercy of the Martian invasion.
