The Aichi E-Sports Union (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture) will hold the “Nenrinpic Habatake Tottori 2024″ Aichi Prefecture/Nagoya City representative qualifying round and e-sports experience session on May 26th (Sunday) at the e-Sports High School Nagoya Campus. It will be held at Nagoya e-Stadium (2-45-19 Meieki, Nakamura-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture).

■Passing flow
From Aichi Prefecture, the top three “Aichi Prefecture
Representatives” and “Nagoya City Representatives” will advance to the main tournament in Tottori Prefecture.

■Holding Format (1) Team composition will be three players.
(2) The event will be the Nintendo Switch version of “Taiko no Tatsujin Dondaful Festival.”
(3) Three matches will be held, and the winner will be determined by the difference in total scores of the three songs, with each player performing one song.
(4) Perform 1vs1 using the assigned song.
(5) There will be 7 required songs.
(6) Set the score to “true hit” and the difficulty level to “normal.” (7) The controller must be the Taiko no Tatsujin controller “Taiko to Bachi for Nintendo Switch” sold by HORI, and must be installed at the venue (playing with Joy-Con, etc. is prohibited).
*The tournament rules will be explained on the day, and will basically be based on the Tottori tournament rules.

■ What is the Aichi eSports Union?

We changed our name and received certification as a local branch of the Japan Esports Union (JeSU). Furthermore, in this region, which became a general incorporated association on October 10, 2019 and is preparing to host the 20th Asian Games 2026/Aichi/Nagoya, we will introduce e-sports, which is likely to be adopted as an event, and the surrounding areas. By communicating economic possibilities, we aim to contribute to regional economic development.

■Aichi eSports Union supporting member
The Aichi E-Sports Federation, a general incorporated association, aims to oversee e-sports in the region centered on Aichi and contribute to the development of the economy and society through the promotion and popularization of e-sports. We work with companies that sympathize with our philosophies of “creating dreams,” “creating industry,” and “responsive to society,” and with whom we can move forward together. As of May 2024, there are 23 companies.
