The Chilean wine “Concha y Toro” handled by Nippon Liquor Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokyo, President and CEO: Tomiaki Saito) will be released on March 19, 2024 (Tuesday) as the company’s new fine wine concept, “Jewels”. We held an event titled “Of the New World.”

By pairing fine wines selected from the terroir with precious gemstones from the Americas and Asia, we propose a new experience in which you can choose wine as you would choose a jewel. Both wine and gemstones are natural wonders created by unique local conditions, and the deep meaning behind each stone is tied to the essence of each wine. In Japan, a special collaboration project wine between Château Mercian and Concha y Toro is also included in the lineup. At the hands-on presentation held in Tokyo on March 19, 2024, in addition to Chile’s “Amelia”, “Carmín de Peumo”, “Terunho”, and Argentina’s “Trivento Eolo”, Japan’s oldest winery Château Mercian Iwade Koshu Amicis, created through a collaborative project between Château Mercian and Concha y Toro, was unveiled to Japan’s major industry partners and the media, and guests were treated to precious jewels.
