On May 2, 2024 (US time), the membership agreement between JCA and ACA was “finally” concluded.This was a historical achievement and a long-awaited goal for JCA, which has a history of 47 years. The signing took place at Texas Chiropractic College (TCC), with ACA President Leo Bronston, ACA Executive Vice President Karen Silverman, TCC President Emeritus Richard G. Brassard, TCC Past President Stephen A. Foster, and Iwama. JCA representative Nobunori and several chiropractors representing JCA attended.

Now that I am an ACA member
Although this dream has come true, it is not the goal. This is the beginning. Now that it is possible to carry the ACA brand, JCA must work hard to live up to the ACA name. To that end, we must play a central role in the training of chiropractors scattered throughout the country, with the chiropractors now recognized as ACA taking the lead, and create a system in which they can receive treatment at the same level as in the United States anywhere. In Japan, where awareness of chiropractic is still low, the image of chiropractic not only improving physical health but also as a highly social contribution that enriches people’s lives has spread, and it has become a part of the daily lives of Japanese people. We will continue to make further progress towards a future where we can incorporate this technology.
