From Saturday, July 13, 2024, Furano Ski Resort (location: Nakagoryo, Furano City, Hokkaido; general manager: Yuji Iga) will allow you to ride the Furano Ropeway with your dog and enjoy a “scenic aerial walk” and “dog run.” We will start our summer business.
The Furano Ropeway is located within the Furano Ski Resort (Furano Zone), has a total length of 2,330 meters, and features a large cabin that seats 101 people. From the summit station at an altitude of 900m, you can see magnificent views of the Furano Basin, Mt. Tokachidake, and the Daisetsuzan Mountain Range.
In addition to the regular flights used by the general public, we operate a dog-only flight so you can enjoy the scenery together without any hesitation. A dog run will also be held at the same time on the slopes in front of the mountaintop station. We will maintain and open two zones, one for large dogs and one for small dogs. In the plaza, you can let go of the leash and let your dog run to his heart’s content, and enjoy relieving your dog of daily stress and taking commemorative photos.
