Specified non-profit organization Japan NPO Center Recruiting members to participate in “Tomosubi”, a new community program to create a civil society together!

Specified non-profit organization Japan NPO Center
We are recruiting members to take part in the new community program “Tomosubi” to create a civil society together!
We aim to create a “place” for new concepts where NPOs, NPO
supporters, government, and corporate personnel can learn from each other across boundaries, and create a further civil society. ……
At the Japan NPO Center, a certified non-profit organization (location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, representative: Natsuko Hagiwara), NPOs, NPO supporters, government, and company personnel work together to solve social issues and create value. From July 2024, we will open a course called “Learning Community Tomobi that Creates a Civil Society Together” as a place to learn and interact across the boundaries. It consists of the “NPO School” where you can freely choose from a total of 18 courses and participate, and the “Secret Seminar” where you can further deepen your learning and interaction. Through mutual learning and exchange, we aim to foster the strength of each participant to strengthen and expand their efforts, as well as the attitude of connecting with colleagues across disciplines and working together. Please join us.

■Background
As social issues become more complex and diverse, and due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, NPOs have had fewer opportunities to interact and learn from each other across regions and fields in recent years. According to the Cabinet Office’s FY2020 Survey on Specified Nonprofit Corporations, 65.6% of organizations have issues with securing and training human resources, and many NPOs are struggling with only a limited number of members.
Therefore, the Japan NPO Center is creating a new platform that transcends regions and fields by using online and local venues to create friendships where NPOs can share know-how and learn from each other, so that they are not isolated and can carry out sustainable and developmental activities. I felt that creation and connection were necessary.
Each person is the “light” of society. Together, we can create a civil society. With this hope in mind, we have named this place “Tomoshibi.” ■Summary
“NPO School” has three courses: “Civil Society,”
“Collaboration/Collaboration,” and “NPO Support.” You can deepen your learning by taking each course consecutively, but you can freely choose from a total of 18 courses to participate. You can also. The content will be shared in an archive for a certain period of time, and you can study it whenever you want (excluding one-time participants of each session).
The “Secret Seminar” will hold seminars on “expand”,
“understand”, and “continue”. We connect members who are facing various issues to deepen their learning and build friendships. *Scheduled to start in November.
