BM W Co., Ltd. will open the brand store “FREUDE” on June 1st (Saturday) with the aim of creating “FREUDE = Joy” and becoming a place that provides opportunities to energize your future life. In order to realize the common philosophy of both brands, “Creation of New Value,” “CAFE & BAR B” proposes a new style of cuisine that fuses German tradition and Japanese ingredients. On the same day, “Cafe & Barbie” will open on the 1st floor of the BMW brand store “FREUDE by BMW” in Azabudai Hills.
By combining Eat Creator Co., Ltd.’s food culture creation know-how with the sophisticated brand experience of FREUDE by BMW, we will create new lifestyle proposals and food culture experiences through the synergy of mutual values.
In a plaza-like space that creates a social space and community for sophisticated adults, the German philosophy of valuing time-honoured traditions such as world-class industry, culture and art will be rebuilt with craftsmanship and quality unique to Japan. We offer a menu of food and drinks.
This is a cafe and bar that can be used for a wide range of occasions, such as lunch and cafe, as well as dinner and bar.

Inspired by traditional German menus, we offer lunch menus that bring out the flavors of ingredients sourced from Japan’s regions and producers to energize you for the day.
We offer a wide variety of dishes, including hearty foods made with Toyonishi beef, Daisen chicken, Kyoto Kujo green onions, and Awajishima pasta selected by the chef himself, as well as fruit juices made with fresh fruits.

The standard cocktail menu combines fruit brandy, which has been popular in Germany for a long time, with Japanese liqueur to make the classic style taste even more complex. By combining flavors with a new approach, you can enjoy a cocktail that has been sublimated into an unprecedented cocktail.
Mocktails made with carefully selected coffee beans, supervised by barista Yoshikawa of Ogawa Coffee, are also on the menu.

Recommended on the dinner menu is the “Domestic Beef Heart and Mountain Wasabi Carpaccio”, which is made by thinly slicing fresh domestic beef heart that has been carefully prepared, garnished with mountain wasabi and lemon, and has a faint scent of sesame oil. This dish is inspired by Germany, the birthplace of steak tartare, while incorporating the essence of Japan. In addition, you can choose from meat or fish for your main dish, such as “Rare Yellowtail Steak with Lemon Sauce”.
We also offer an original food menu that combines Japanese food culture, including sausages and German ham that go well with German-style beer.
