★About the latest trends in waste plastic measures, separation technology, and chemical recycling!
[Knowledge gained at the seminar]
1) Waste plastic measures in the world and Japan
2) Waste plastic separation technology
3) Chemical recycling technology for waste plastic
4) Effective use of municipal waste

[Seminar target audience]
Engineers interested in plastic recycling
People interested in the plastic chemical recycling business -Seminar Purpose-
Chemical recycling of plastics is finally taking shape in Japan. As a general rule, waste plastics should not be burned or sent to landfills. Bottle-to-bottle recycling of PET bottles has progressed, but polyethylene and polypropylene have not yet been recycled. In Europe and the United States, liquefied naphtha is recovered using crackers as ethylene and propylene. Also, a technology has been developed to directly catalytically decompose waste plastics and recover them as light olefins. Municipal garbage, including plastic waste contaminated with food residue, is now being gasified to produce methanol, ethanol, and even SAF (aviation fuel). Industrial catalysts play an important role in these chemical recycling processes. We will introduce the latest trends in chemical recycling technology for plastics, including those in Europe and the United States, and will also discuss the future possibilities of plastic recycling business in Japan.
