~Plaste releases the results of the latest awareness survey when commuting during the rainy season~
……
PLST, a Fast Retailing Group brand that proposes “everyday clothes” for when you want to look neat, conducted a survey of 400 female office workers between the ages of 20 and 59 regarding their attitudes toward commuting clothes during the rainy season. We have conducted this and will publish the results.

As a result of the survey, the majority of working women (94.3%) answered, “I have experienced getting my clothes wet or dirty while commuting during the rainy season,” and about two out of three (65.0%) of them answered, “I wish I could change clothes at work.” I understand that you feel it’s ideal. On the other hand, less than 20% (19.8%) of people have a “pan” where they can keep a change of underwear at the office. Contrary to ideals, it has become clear that people are spending the day without being able to change their clothes.
Therefore, when asked what features they would like to have in their commuting fashion during the rainy season, more than twice as many people asked for “washable features” and “water-repellent features” rather than “stretchy features” that make it easy to move around in the office. We found that functionality in preventing wetness and dirt is important.
-Summary of survey results-
More than 90% of working women said they had experienced getting their clothes wet or dirty while commuting during the rainy season. Approximately two out of three of them felt that it would be ideal if they could change their clothes at work.
Contrary to ideals, less than 20% of people have a “keep pan” where they can keep a change of underwear at the office.
The top feature ranking that would be nice to have in your commuter fashion during the rainy season is “machine washable”, followed by “water repellent”. More than twice the “stretchability” of each. -Survey results details-

2. Contrary to ideals, less than 20% of people have a “keep pan” where they can keep a change of underwear at the office.
While many working women answered that it would be ideal if they could change out of their wet or dirty clothes when commuting to work during the rainy season,
It was found that less than 20% (19.8%) of people keep clothes to change into (those who keep things such as pants to change into at the office, so-called “pan storage”).
When I asked people why they don’t keep a change of clothes in the office, the majority of them said, “There’s no place to change or keep them at the office,” and one of the answers was “Depending on the color and material of the clothes you’re wearing that day, it doesn’t match the clothes you’re changing into.” There are also people who say that they don’t keep a change of clothes because they are concerned about coordination, such as, “If I leave a change of clothes, my outfit will be the same on rainy days every time,” and there is a need for items that can be worn with a variety of styles with one piece. It can also be seen that there is.

3. The top feature ranking that would be nice to have in your commuter fashion during the rainy season is “machine washable”, followed by “water repellent”. More than twice the “stretchability” of each. When asked what features would be nice to have in a rainy season commuting fashion, the top answer was “Machine washable (60.5%)”, followed by “Water repellent”.
The result was more than twice that of “stretchability,” which is considered important as a feature that allows for easy movement in the office.
More than ease of movement and relaxation, it also has the ability to be washed in the washing machine at home without having to take it to the cleaners every time it gets wet or dirty while commuting, and the water-repellent finish eliminates the discomfort of getting wet, making your day more comfortable. It seems that there is a demand for features that allow people to spend their time during the rainy season.
In addition, there were many comments such as “sweat-wicking and quick-drying (55.0%),” “preventing see-through (48.5%),” and “antibacterial and deodorizing (43.5%),” indicating that the functionality of the material is important during the humid and sweaty rainy season. I found out that
