PLST, a Fast Retailing Group brand that proposes “everyday clothes” for when you want to look neat, conducted a survey of 400 female office workers between the ages of 20 and 59 regarding their attitudes toward commuting clothes during the rainy season. As a result of the survey, the majority of working women (94.3%) answered, “I have experienced getting my clothes wet or dirty while commuting during the rainy season,” and about two out of three (65.0%) of them answered, “I wish I could change clothes at work.” I understand that you feel it’s ideal. On the other hand, less than 20% (19.8%) of people have a “pan” where they can keep a change of underwear at the office. Contrary to ideals, it has become clear that people are spending the day without being able to change their clothes.
Therefore, when asked what features they would like to have in their commuting fashion during the rainy season, more than twice as many people asked for “washable features” and “water-repellent features” rather than “stretchy features” that make it easy to move around in the office. We found that functionality in preventing wetness and dirt is important.
