Maria Grazia Chiuri’s 2025 Cruise Collection show will be held on Monday, June 3rd at 8pm (Tuesday, June 4th at 4am Japan time). A teaser video has been released ahead of the show.

The unicorn that existed there was a symbol of love and purity, and was known to be esoteric. The expansive nature in the background represents women who lived in a much more closed-off era than today, and embraces them like a mother.

Works created by Mary Stuart, who was taken prisoner by the English and ultimately imprisoned for 19 years, are still preserved. When her letters were censored and interviews denied, she turned to embroidery as a means of asserting her own testimony. The broken thistle, embroidered unicorn, and her own initials convey the message of rebellion that Mary Stuart harbored within her heart.
