Kokyo Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Kazuhiko Sumimura, Headquarters: Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) has added fiber/YAG laser light, sensors, We have added a new product (LPG-GIR-2) to our lineup that supports the protection of wavelength bands used in optical communications, medical care, and material processing, while also providing high visibility.
This new product supports an optical density of OD5 in the wavelength range of 900 to 2,400 nm and OD7 in the wavelength range of 1,010 to 1,550 nm, and is useful for near-infrared sensors and optical communications in addition to laser processing using fiber lasers and YAG lasers. The user’s eyes will be protected from the laser light used. In addition, visible light transmittance (VLT) has been improved to 75%, exceeding that of comparable products from other companies. This greatly improves visibility, making it easier to check workpieces in dark workplaces, and eliminating the need to take off safety glasses when performing work that requires secure peripheral vision, contributing to improved convenience.
This new product, which combines near-infrared laser light protection and high visibility, will be sold at a price of 29,000 yen (excluding tax), which is more affordable than comparable products from other companies.
