Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Corporation (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Nakanishi)
Mitsuru) is holding the Tokyo Senior Business Grand Prix, a business plan contest for people aged 55 and over, with the aim of encouraging seniors to start businesses in order to enrich their lives. We started accepting entries for this year from May 14th. We are accepting business plans until Monday, September 30, 2024.
We will support seniors to start businesses throughout the year, from the kickoff seminar on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, to the Grand Prix Final on Saturday, January 25, 2025. *
Those selected as one of the 10 finalists will be eligible for 1 million yen in start-up support funds*
It becomes. In addition, the winner of the grand prize at the public presentation at the Grand Prix Final will receive a prize of 500,000 yen*, and the winner of the award of excellence will receive a prize of 250,000 yen*.

Applicable to those who meet “all” of the following [Requirement 1] to [Requirement 3]
[Requirement 1] Those who are 55 years or older as of April 1, 2024 [Requirement 2] Any of the following 1. to 3. must apply at the time of application.
1. Individuals planning to start a business in Tokyo
2.Representative of a small to medium-sized enterprise, etc. (*1) that has its registered head office or principal office in Tokyo and has been registered as a corporation for less than 5 years.
3.Individuals who have opened a personal business or have notified a transfer with their tax domicile in Tokyo, and it has been less than 5 years since the notification of business start-up.
(*1) Small and medium-sized enterprises, etc. refer to those stipulated in Article 2 of the Small and Medium Enterprise Basic Act, the Cabinet Order of Small and Medium Enterprise-related Legislation such as the Japan Finance Corporation Act, and Article 2 of the Act on General Incorporated Associations and General Incorporated
Foundations. A general incorporated association as stipulated in Paragraph 1, Item 1, and a specified non-profit corporation as stipulated in Article 2 of the Specified Non-profit Activities Promotion Act.
