Future development plans
Based on last year’s trial, the NTT Group examined the functionality of the smartphone app, and as a result, we are proceeding with development to add functionality to the app “fowald(R)” (*2) currently provided by NTT Data. “fowald” is an app that supports a community that loves daily activities. By adding and utilizing functions to “fowald,” we will not only have more fans and supporters participate than last year, but also expand our activities to residents who currently have little contact with the club. I aim to go.
The updated version of the app and the provision of climate actions through the app are scheduled to start from July 1st.
In addition, we plan to continue updating our efforts by utilizing NTT Group technology. By autumn, we will incorporate NTT Digital’s digital wallet, which promotes the web3 area within the NTT Group, into the app, allowing app users to prove their climate action activities and earn NFT rewards through the app without having to be aware of any special measures. We plan to create a new and more comfortable user experience, such as by acquiring new information.
