Heiwado (Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture, Representative Director, President and Executive Officer: Masashi Hiramatsu, hereinafter referred to as “Heiwado”) will open the “Heiwado Mobile Supermarket” in Sugino, Nagahama City on Saturday, June 1, 2024 to support local shopping.・Started in three districts: Takatoki and Ikagu. As a result, the service has started in all four districts covered by Heiwado, including the Biwa district, which started in April.

Since 2021, Heiwado has been conducting mobile sales in Koka City as the “Koka City Mobile Sales Model Project.” In February 2024, in preparation for the start of mobile sales, Nagahama City, the Nagahama City Social Welfare Council, the town development councils of the areas where mobile sales are implemented, and Heiwado signed a “Collaboration Agreement on the Revitalization of Local Communities Associated with Mobile Store Businesses.” concluded.
