Heat Haze/buddies passed the qualifying round with 1st place in each division! [49th All Japan Ultimate Championship Kansai/Chushikoku District Qualifying]
The 49th All Japan Championship was held from Saturday, June 1st to Sunday, June 2nd, 2024, with the Open Division held at J-GREEN Sakai (Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture) and the Women’s Division held at Yamato Kogen Bosco Villa (Nara City, Nara Prefecture). Haze, Kwansei Gakuin University ARROWS, Trigger, buddys, RadRise, and Celavie have earned the right to participate in the main tournament to be held in October in their respective divisions.

About the flying disc competition “Ultimate”
In Ultimate, two teams of seven players pass a disc around a 100m x 37m court, and if they catch a pass in the end zone, they score a point (1 point). It takes advantage of the flight characteristics of the disc that are not found in ball games, requires speed and stamina, and the spirit of the game.

The name Ultimate was given because it uses a self-judgment system based on the basic philosophy of Ultimate. Each youth division will compete in a five-person format.
