Yamaha Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) is pleased to announce that the 2025 Japan World Expo (hereinafter referred to as “Osaka/Kansai”) will be held in Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture from Sunday, April 13, 2025 to Monday, October 13, 2025. We will support the announcement area of “Digital Expo” (Expo 2007). “Omotenashi Guide for Biz” uses SoundUD developed by our company as an announcement tool for in-venue event information, pavilion
introductions, emergency broadcasts, etc., and has a new multilingual function that simultaneously interprets the real voice of the speaker. The announcement system will be provided in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. The content of the announcements can be read in the language set on your smartphone through the “Mieru Announcement” trigger board installed in the venue, making it easy for people with hearing concerns, people with hearing impairments, and visitors from overseas to read the announcements in the language set on their smartphones. Users can also easily check the information.
We will utilize an advanced automatic translation system (consecutive translation/automatic simultaneous interpretation) for announcements within the venue, providing a future communication environment free of “language barriers.”
Our company will continue to promote the SoundUD business, support the rich lives of diverse people, and contribute to the realization of a future society where life is bright.
