This is the chocolate shop, “I, Raw Chocolate.” At the store, you’ll find various flavors of our signature product, “Watashi, Raw Chocolate,” as well as baked goods made with chocolate, cookie tins, and store-limited products. Many of the staff members normally work in the workshop, and they take turns selling “I, Raw Chocolate,” so you can ask customers about the manufacturing process and their commitment to it.

The reason we opened the store in this location was because the CEO of Clockup Co., Ltd., which operates the store, thought it was
interesting because there was a gap. We want our tourists visiting Aomori City to enjoy the discovery of “I found a shop like this!”, so we opened a chocolate stand called “Watashi, Raw Chocolate” inside the Aomori Fish and Vegetable Center fish market. was born. The development of “I, Raw Chocolate” came about when the CEO of Croc Up Co., Ltd., who suffers from atopic dermatitis and is allergic to chocolate, wanted to make chocolate that children suffering from atopic dermatitis could also eat, so he started studying cacao. is. When I lived in New York, I remembered that there was chocolate that didn’t make you itch when you ate it, so I looked it up and found out that it was “Raw Chocolate”.
When I went to Brooklyn, New York with a chocolatier and asked him to tell me his secrets, I found out that he had a chocolate bar called “Raw Chocolate”.
“Chocolate” contains no allergens that cause itching that occur during roasting, does not use vegetable oils that also contain allergens, and does not use additives such as emulsifiers or preservatives.It also contains vitamins and minerals that are normally destroyed by heat. It turns out that chocolate retains more nutrients that are good for the body than regular chocolate, including ingredients that stimulate large amounts of the hormone phenylethylamine, which is secreted in the brain during love, without being lost in the heat. (In ancient South America, cacao was used as a medicine.)

Based on what I learned in New York, “I, Raw Chocolate” was developed. Allergens vary from person to person, so we cannot say that “even people with atopic dermatitis can eat this”, but we
manufacture our products with that in mind.

Although it takes time and effort, our aim is to bring out the flavor and characteristics of each cacao bean to the fullest and provide the best chocolate possible. “My Raw Chocolate” is made only with cacao beans and cane sugar without using any additives, and you can enjoy the rich aroma of cacao and its smooth melt-in-your-mouth texture.

“Watashi, Raw Chocolate” also sells drinks unique to a chocolate specialty store. One of them is “CACAO”, a homemade craft cola made with cacao and spices.
