Mobiles add movement to a space just by displaying them.
You can feel the invisible elements of nature such as wind and gravity from their irregular movements.
I was thinking that if I could develop a mobile with gentle colors, it would be easier to incorporate it into everyday life, just like decorating flowers and plants, and my daily life would be enriched. After learning that an aluminum parts processing factory was experimenting with dyeing various plants, we began developing mobiles dyed with aluminum using vegetable dyes that have a low environmental impact.
* About vegetable dyeing of aluminum *
Vegetable dyeing is a method of dyeing colors by extracting plant pigments. Unlike dyeing using synthetic dyes, the size and color of the dyes are not uniform, so it is very time-consuming, but because it uses naturally occurring plants, it has an extremely low impact on the environment and people.
I tried various vegetable dyes on aluminum, and this time I dyed it with three types of vegetable dyes: Akane, Yamamomo, and Kuchinashi.
