*For two days, September 21st (Saturday) and 22nd (Sunday), 2024, the industry’s largest roadside station gourmet event will be held at Roadside Station Tango Kingdom “Shoku no Miyako” in Kyotango City, Kyoto Prefecture! *
The “Michi-1 Grand Prix 2024” competition to determine the No. 1 roadside station gourmet in Japan, which has been held since 2016, will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 and Sunday, September 22, 2024 in Kyotango City, Kyoto Prefecture. The event will be held at “Shoku no Miyako” in the Tango Kingdom station! A decisive battle will be held to determine the No. 1 roadside station gourmet food from among the 1,213 roadside stations nationwide.

* ◼️What is Michi-1 Grand Prix?*
This is a once-a-year gourmet festival where signature gourmet foods carefully selected from 1,213 roadside stations in 47 prefectures nationwide come together. Each roadside station that will be opening a stall will bring its own specialty dishes that make use of local specialties, and the “No. 1 roadside station gourmet food” will be determined by the votes of visiting customers. We also aim to develop food culture by discovering the appeal of local food and disseminating it to as many people as possible, and it also serves as a place for the participating roadside stations to interact.
