The “Natural Circulation Winery” we are opening this time will have Mr. Hirotake Ooka, a cultivator and winemaker who has continued to make natural wine in France and has earned worldwide acclaim, as an advisor, and will make the most of the power of nature and contribute to the environment. We will work on producing wine with less load. In addition to promoting organic cultivation throughout the entire process from grape cultivation to winemaking, we are building a sustainable, circular agricultural model that grows grapes using fertilizer made from composted food residue from Awaji Island.
The winery also operates as a tourist farm where visitors can experience the charm of natural circulation agriculture. Through tours and wine tasting events, we will communicate the appeal of wine, a regional specialty, and contribute to the promotion of tourism on Awaji Island as a whole.
Through the opening of this winery, Awaji Nature Farm will expand next-generation agricultural initiatives that are considerate to health and the environment, contribute to the revitalization of local agriculture and tourism, and work to increase the number of people involved in agriculture.
