The “Shizuoka Sauna Council” (Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Representative Director: Toshiyuki Kawai) was established with the aim of creating and disseminating a new sauna culture in Shizuoka Prefecture, and the “Izu Tokoroten Club” (Shizuoka Prefecture) aims to spread Tokoroten from Shizuoka to the world. 184-3 Fushimi,

We will start serving food and drinks at Nosu Outdoor Sauna KULTA.
The Shizuoka Sauna Council will continue to develop and develop sauna food and sauna drinks that utilize ingredients from Shizuoka Prefecture and promote their provision at sauna facilities. The Izu Tokoroten Club is promoting the appeal of tokoroten and developing a new way to eat it, and Tokinosu has begun offering sauna tokoroten at Shuzenji Tokinosumu Outdoor Sauna KULTA, as well as offering it at other facilities. We plan to expand and sell it.
To coincide with Tokoroten Day on June 10th, KULTA will be offering free sauna Tokoroten. In conjunction with the start of Tokoroten food and beverage service at the same facility, we will be holding a briefing session for the press on June 9th (Sunday). We would like to support the spread of sauna culture in Shizuoka, so we would appreciate it if you could interview us.

Tokoroten is rich in minerals and is a perfect health food after sweating after a sauna. Tokoroten for sauna uses citrus green mandarin oranges to leave a refreshing flavor, and the crisp acidity and citric acid give it a taste that soothes your body’s fatigue.

KULTA is an outdoor sauna with 5 large and small barrel saunas. Among them, the barrel sauna, which uses cypress wood from Shizuoka Prefecture, is the most popular, as you can enjoy the rich aroma of wood and the gentle heat that only a wood stove can provide. In addition, the barrel is one of the largest in Japan and can accommodate up to 14 people at the same time, so you can enjoy it with many friends. The large water bath is 120cm deep, and the underground water that is pumped up is rich in minerals and has a composition similar to that of hot springs.
