[New product] New vase from the legendary Parisian “Tsetse Associé.” Tonkachi Co., Ltd. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Representative: Yukari Katsuki) has released a special website “Tsetse vases that turn flowers into poetry.”

Tsetse Associé is a legendary design unit active in Paris. Their representative work, “April Vase,” is highly regarded as a piece of art in itself, and is included in the permanent collections of the Center Pompidou in Paris, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, and the MoMA Museum in New York.
Now, more than 30 years after the legendary birth, a new beautiful white porcelain vase has been added.
“April Vase” is said to have been inspired by Japanese flower arrangement, with 16 connected vases that move freely, drawing out poetry from the flowers. They can be straight, even, circular, or tightly gathered together, and the way they change is like an organic substance. The rest of the lineup is also unique. The “Sluggard Vase” that hangs and sways, and the “Little Bird Vase” made of stoneware. Please feel Tsetse’s message that flowers are about freedom and vases are about the curiosity to accept it.

In 1984, at the age of 16, Catherine Lévy and Sigolène Prebois met at the National Crafts School in Paris and hit it off.
