IKEA Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture, President and Chief Sustainability Officer: Petra Farre) will start selling new products exclusive to city center stores at each city center store from Saturday, June 8, 2024, which is the 4th anniversary of IKEA Harajuku.

As a limited edition design, we will be selling freezer bags and S-sized bags with pop designs of maps around each store. As a result, sales of soft toy patterned freezer bags will end once stock runs out.

Limited edition products with playful IKEA designs that can be enjoyed individually or connected together.

It took about a year or more to commercialize the product while discussing it with IKEA Japan.
I’m sure people have different images of each area in Tokyo, but I used something as reliable as a map as the core of the design, and illustrated the symbolic places in each area. IKEA store locations are also marked with the Dalarna Horse, a traditional symbol of Sweden. Please use our products while imagining what each symbol represents. These are extremely popular at IKEA because we want more people to be able to get their hands on unique, highly designed, limited edition products at affordable prices, and to easily incorporate IKEA’s fun and colorful impression into their home lives. The limited edition product was created by combining three colors that give a pop impression: pink (Harajuku), purple (Shibuya), and green (Shinjuku) to the freezer bag and S size bag that are products of .
When you connect the limited edition products sold at each city center store, it becomes one big map.It’s a playful product that is typical of IKEA, so be sure to buy it for yourself or as a souvenir for your family and friends. Please enjoy shopping around.
