First store outside the prefecture! A product store produced by Orizuru Tower opens in Osaka – “Hiroshima IPPIN” Come to KITTE Osaka! –

Orizuru Tower (Hiroshima Mazda Co., Ltd./Location: 1-2-1 Otemachi, Naka-ku, Hiroshima City/President: Ichiro Yamane) will open “Hiroshima IPPIN,” the first flagship store outside the prefecture produced by Orizuru Tower. will open at KITTE Osaka (inside JP Tower Osaka). (Grand opening on Wednesday, July 31, 2024)
We searched for Hiroshima’s “IPPIN” and selected carefully selected products, from foods and daily necessities made with the prefecture’s special products, to traditional crafts and other Hiroshima items that are slightly nicer and more profound. At the entrance of the store, there is an official torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine, which communicates the charms of Hiroshima from the land of Osaka. Prior to the opening, we will hold a preview (tasting event) for the press on Monday, July 29, 2024.

■ Orizuru Tower Product Hall “SOUVENIR SELECT People and Trees” Orizuru Tower, operated by Hiroshima Mazda Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as our company), opened in 2016 and is celebrating its 8th year this year.
The souvenir shop, which opened at the same time as the opening, has been popular with tourists and locals for its approximately 1,000 types of souvenirs in cooperation with local businesses and
businesses. The product hall has grown as a place where Hiroshima’s famous products are gathered, and has taken over the role of the former “Industrial Promotion Hall” (the building that was the predecessor of the Atomic Bomb Dome), and has continued its business with the feeling of giving back to the hometown of Hiroshima. Ta. Now, as a new challenge, we have decided to open our second flagship store in Osaka.

■Store design with a torii gate approved by Itsukushima Shrine in the center The store has a torii gate approved by Itsukushima Shrine in the center, and is themed around Hiroshima’s nature and culture. The interior colors follow Orizuru Tower’s concept colors, with red representing the nurturing mountains and vibrant city, and river blue representing rivers and the ocean.
In addition, the white road representing the road that connects Hiroshima is named “HIROSHIMA SHINE ROAD,” creating a space where you can feel Hiroshima with a modern and simple expression.

The concept of KITTE Osaka is “the beginning of connections.” Throughout the ages, this place (Osaka) has been home to all kinds of people, things, cultures, and thoughts, giving birth to various encounters and various stories.
As part of this place, which is the starting point for creating new connections between Osaka, Hiroshima IPPIN would like to play a role in connecting Osaka and Hiroshima through Hiroshima’s “excellent products.”
The products selected after searching for the best products from all over Hiroshima range from the classic Momiji Manju, oysters, lemon products, and okonomiyaki to rare items that have never been available before.
For sake in Hiroshima, we focused on Tsuka Sake Brewery Co., Ltd., located in Akitsu-cho, Higashihiroshima City, the birthplace of ginjo sake, and which has been brewing sake for about 170 years since its establishment. We have purchased pasteurized 9th generation Otafuku Junmai Daiginjo, which was created using the soft water brewing method of Senzaburo Miura, who is said to be the father of Miura.
In addition, we have a complete lineup that is difficult to obtain anywhere else in Hiroshima, such as Doburoku (Kitahiroshima/Fukumitsu Sake Brewery Co., Ltd.), which is rare in Hiroshima.

In addition, we collaborate with local Hiroshima companies to create original products with the theme of “circulation.”
Currently, we are developing sweets and jam by reusing the plums used for pickling in plum wine. In addition, the “Hamagou” that grows naturally on the beaches of Miyajima was cut down and discarded in the summer, but in addition to being recycled and sold as an original blended herbal tea, we are also making a new product using camphor and cypress wood chips from Hiroshima Prefecture. Scented products are scheduled to be released.
■Tastings and tastings will be held in the store on the day of the event. On the day of the preview, there was a tasting of “Suzu Lemon Castella”, which has a distinctive crunchy texture coated with lemon syrup from Setouchi, and a 100% mix of young bamboo-colored domestic green soybeans and milk from Kitahiroshima. Enjoy “Blue Kinako Ice Cream (tentative name)” topped with Hiroshima sake.
