This will be the first time that the facility will be open for private use during dinner time. The first event will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024, and will be held mainly on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

This complex facility is managed by Onkochishin, which operates and produces unique accommodation facilities throughout Japan. The Hakone Lalique Museum, which exhibits the works of French glass artist and jewelry designer Rene Lalique (1860-1945), will be reborn in 2023 with a new restaurant, cafe, and patisserie. The space was decorated by Lalique, and a luxurious salon car that was actually used until 2001 as the “Côte d’Azur Express” connecting Paris and southern France has been relocated.

Otonami’s customers are extremely sensitive, and we are attracted to the ability to directly approach a new customer base that was previously difficult to reach through Hakone Emore Terrace’s efforts alone. There are many customers who travel all the way to find out about Hakone Emore Terrace through Otonami.
The plan launched this time will be the first time the hotel is open for dinner. Although we had been considering opening for dinner for some time, we felt that there would be an issue in attracting customers if we operated only for food and beverages. In starting a new plan, our solid track record with the Tea Time Plan provided strong support. I felt secure with Otonami’s assistance in planning and producing the specific content of the plan, and I feel that after careful consideration, we were able to come up with something that we were satisfied with. We hope that many customers will enjoy it in the future.
We believe that initiatives that incorporate high-value-added experiential content like this are useful not only for our museum but also for Chishin from the Past as a whole. Our company operates various facilities across the country, so we would like to develop attractive experience content at other facilities based on the success story of Hakone Emore Terrace.
