June 14th (Friday) → June 16th (Sunday), 2024, event space on the 2nd floor of Daimaru Shimonoseki store
The third Sunday in June, June 16th (Sunday), is Father’s Day. The Shimonoseki Rose Subcommittee of the Prefecture Floriculture and Agriculture Cooperative Association is conducting PR activities aimed at establishing the custom of giving roses on Father’s Day.

This is the first time the event has been held at the Daimaru Shimonoseki store to show yellow para flowers and roses grown in the prefecture as a way to express gratitude on Father’s Day.
Approximately 500 roses of approximately 50 to 60 types will be on display from June 14th (Friday) to June 16th (Sunday).
On June 16th (Sunday), Father’s Day, from 10:00-13:00, there will be a raffle to win a bouquet of flowers for Father’s Day for those who participate in the survey (adults) and portraits (children). The roses on display will be on sale from 12:00.
It would be nice to add roses as a gift for Father’s Day.

Since June last year, the Daimaru Shimonoseki store, which introduces and sells local products, has been displaying flower arrangements made from locally produced flowers next to the escalator on the first floor. This exhibition led to a connection and led to the holding of this event.
