Nippon Tea Seikatsu LLC (Chuo-ku, Tokyo), which plans and manages Japanese tea events and media, is holding a Japanese tea event called “Tokyo Tea House – Drinking and Living New Tea” at “THE” in Togoshi, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo. CAMPUS FLATS TOGOSHI” will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024.

Based on the concept of “prototype living,” the rental housing is equipped with a work space, kitchen studio, fitness space, snack space, treatment room, food stand, and more.

experiences, talk events, sweets and tea workshops, and Shizuoka tea treatments.

The main program is a tasting experience and sales event where tea makers introduce new teas and carefully selected teas. Three brands will be opening stores: Hiraoka Shoten Annon, a tea wholesaler from Shizuoka, Okutomien, a tea farmer from Saitama, and Ohana Botanica, produced by a tea expert from Hawaii. At the Nippon Tea Life booth, we will be introducing tea from Nagasaki’s tea wholesaler Ikeda Chaen, Kagoshima’s tea farmer Harutonari, and Shizuoka’s tea farmer Akiyamaen. Participants can visit four tasting booths, sample a wide variety of teas, enjoy conversations with the makers, and find their favorite tea.
Additionally, a talk event will be held at the venue where you can enjoy Japanese tea talk by vendors.

Program (2) Workshop “Living with Sweets and Tea”
A workshop where you can enjoy the charms of sweets and tea at the same time, a collaboration between “sofar”, a shop for daily necessities and sweets in Higashi-Koganei, Tokyo, and “Kamakura Tsubaki no Ie”, a culture house in Kamakura. In the tea muffin making demonstration, you can learn how to make delicious tea muffins that you can try at home. Enjoy freshly baked tea muffins with your own matcha tea.

A workshop by Chikako Sato, the proprietress in charge of tea and food at the culture house “Kamakura Bud no Ie” in Kamakura. Taste the finest Shirakawa tea grown in the magnificent nature of Higashi Shirakawa Village, Gifu Prefecture, rice cakes and five types of pickles made by Kamakura Bud House, and experience the depth of handicrafts.

Okutomien/Masahiro Okutomi
“Okutomien” is a tea farm that has continued for 15 generations since the Edo period. We produce a variety of teas, including deep-steamed sencha, which is popular in Saitama and Sayama, as well as regular sencha, black tea, and matcha.In recent years, we have been focusing on wilted sencha.
Ohana Botanica/Ian Chun
“Ohana Botanica” is a tea and lifestyle brand by Ian Chun, a Hawaiian who runs the online Japanese tea sales site “Yunomi.life.” Based on the concept of “Japanese living filled with the spirit of aloha,” we are developing teas that add spices, flowers, and fruits to Japanese tea.

A select shop in Higashi-Koganei, Tokyo that proposes a richer lifestyle based on the concept of “Find your new favorites!” In addition to baked goods and household goods made with seasonal ingredients, we also sell spices and bath salts with the theme of “conditioning your mind and body.” We also hold solo exhibitions by local creators.
Kamakura Bud House/Chikako Sato
“Kamakura Tsubaki no Ie” is an old folk house culture house in Kamakura that reconsiders the wisdom of daily life that has been connected to Japanese daily life since ancient times so that it fits into the present era, and puts it into practice through seasonal handicrafts and cultural experiences. Chikako Sato is the proprietress and is in charge of tea and food.
NACHARAL/Natsuko Hayashi Japanese tea instructor/leader, CIBTAC certified spa therapist, AEAJ certified aromatherapy instructor. Co-managed a beauty salon in her 20s. Dreaming of a world with Japanese tea-themed spa treatments in April 2022, we launched the spa brand “NACHARAL” using organic tea from Shizuoka Prefecture, and are expanding our business mainly to accommodation facilities in Shizuoka Prefecture.
