The Japan Anger Management Association (located in Minato-ku, Tokyo), run by “Anger Management”, is a company that uses “Anger
Management” as a common language, respects each other’s human rights, and aims to create a workplace free of harassment and discrimination. Last year, we established the Anger Management Management Award, an award system with the aim of increasing the number of awards. “Customer harassment”, in which customers and business partners make unreasonable complaints and demands against companies and their employees, has become a social issue, but the “Anger Management Award” is aimed at ensuring that no harassment of any kind occurs or is caused. The award recognizes companies that strive to create a healthy work environment that protects their employees.
The award ceremony was held today, June 6, 2024 (Thursday), and we would like to announce the award-winning companies.
What is the “Anger Management Award”?
The Japan Anger Management Association (General Incorporated Association) aims to realize a healthy work environment free from all forms of harassment and discrimination by having all employees accept diversity and respect each other’s human rights.・We aim to contribute to the development of the industry by honoring organizations with the Anger Management Management Award.
On June 6th (Thursday), we held the 2nd Anger Management Award Ceremony. *June 6th has been officially recognized as Anger Management Day by the Japan Anniversary Association.
At the award ceremony, the “Anger Management Award” will be presented to outstanding companies and organizations from the following five perspectives. Award-winning companies and organizations were announced at the award ceremony.

What are the five perspectives?

■Vision/Policy
The company’s management philosophy, management vision, medium-term plan, etc. include visions and policies related to respecting employee human rights, establishing diversity, and preventing harassment.

■Respect for human rights
There is an environment in which all employees and executives working at a company can respect their own values ​​and reflect them in company management, regardless of nationality, age, gender, position, etc.

■Organizational culture
There is a culture in which employees can engage in corporate activities with passion, respect each other, and work with enthusiasm.

■Education

About the “Anger Management Award” logo
A kingfisher with a motif of the initials “ABA” of this award’s Angermanegement Business Leadership Award.

Since ancient times, kingfishers have been believed to calm the wind and waves because they build nests on beaches and riverbanks and return their eggs.

In Britain, it also appears in mythology as the legendary bird “Halcyon,” and is generally a symbol of peace, peace, and an omen of happiness.

What is anger management?
Anger management is a psychological training developed in the United States in the 1970s to help people deal with their feelings of anger.
