Signing ceremony for first overseas FC store held in the Philippines On June 4, 2024, Sogo Omi Beef Trading Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Moriyama City, Shiga Prefecture, Representative Director: Tatsuhiro Nishino), which operates “Yakiniku Sudaku”, announced that in preparation for the opening of Yakiniku Sudaku, the Philippine restaurant operator Vikings.
We have signed a franchise agreement with Pacific Apex Food Ventures, Inc., a subsidiary of Group Philippines.
About the signing ceremony
Sogo Omi Beef Trading Company also exports beef, and operates approximately 50 Yakiniku restaurants in Japan, including Yakiniku Sudaku.
With this agreement, we aim to open Yakiniku Sudaku’s first overseas store in Metro Manila, and we are planning to open a store in the newly developed area of Taguig City in the metropolitan area by the end of this year.
Going forward, our goal is to open 10 overseas stores in two years and 300 stores in 10 years, and “we want to expand widely in Asia, which is experiencing rapid growth,” said Tatsuhiro Nishino, CEO.
