In collaboration with Professor Mikiharu Noma, researched the relationship between engagement and corporate value measured using “Wevox”. Tobin’s is an indicator of corporate value
As a result of empirical analysis using Q and engagement score, we found that there is a positive correlation between the two.
Additionally, analysis using the instrumental variable method confirmed that there is a causal relationship in which engagement scores have a positive impact on corporate value.
In other words, this study revealed that * corporate value increases by increasing engagement. *

Professor Mikiharu Noma, Graduate School of Business Administration, Hitotsubashi University
Obtained a doctorate (in commerce) from Hitotsubashi University Graduate School of Commerce. From October 2004, he served as an assistant professor and associate professor at the Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy, Hitotsubashi University, before assuming his current position in April 2019.
From 2010 to 2011, he was a Fulbright Research Fellow at Columbia Business School. Currently, he is a special researcher at the Financial Research Center of the Financial Services Agency, an outside director of Nippon Chouzai, an outside director of Goodcom Asset, an outside auditor of Nice, an outside auditor of Darwin Capital Partners, and an outside investment committee member of Keystone Partners. Received the 63rd Nikkei Keizai Book Cultural Award for “Liabilities Related to Retirement Benefits and Corporate Behavior – Empirical Analysis of Internal Debt” (Chuokeizaisha, 2020), Japan Accounting Research Association Ota-Kurosawa Award, International Accounting Research Association Society Award-winning.
