The purpose of this internship tour is to support the construction of an internship implementation system for the recruitment of new graduates by small and medium-sized enterprises in Takaoka City, and to create a place where students and companies can meet.
From last year, we have expanded the types of courses and the number of companies, and 6 courses and 30 companies will offer internships. This is a very meaningful tour where you can learn about 5 different companies through 5 days of work experience.
If you are a student who wants to start job hunting in your hometown or in a regional area, but don’t know where to start, or if you want to meet companies and industries you don’t know about, please come and join us.
* ■Six distinctive course themes*
A total of 6 courses were offered, and 30 small and medium-sized companies with offices in Takaoka City accepted internships. Each course has a theme, and even students who have not yet decided on their desired industry can choose a theme that interests them, giving them a chance to learn about companies involved in that industry and industries they have not seen before.
Furthermore, this year, a student coordinator will accompany each course to support the implementation of internships. We will work between companies and students and provide communication support that will lead to essential understanding of the company during the tour. * ■Voices from students who participated last year*
・I think it would be very difficult to visit five companies on my own, but I am very grateful that I was able to visit them on the tour.It was a very valuable opportunity to see the work sites that I was interested in.
・Until now, I had only tried to get to know the company based on things like its popularity and sales, but through this internship I was able to interact with the people who actually work there, and I became more aware of the relationship with the local community and the core aspects of work. I decided to focus on this and move forward with my job hunting.
・I was able to learn once again that there are various companies and industries in the local area.
・Not only did I learn about the job details, but I also felt positive about working by hearing stories from employees who find their work rewarding and working with enthusiasm.
・I had the opportunity to learn more about industries that I had not considered before, became interested in them, and was able to broaden my horizons.
