Wizardry Crusaders of the Dark Savant (Guardia Jewel) (PC-9801 version released 1994)

Wizardry8 (Windows version released in 2001)
This work is the 8th installment of the “Wizardry” series, known as the original 3D RPG, and both English and Japanese versions were released in 2001. This is the final chapter of the trilogy of “6”, “7”, and “8”, and the mystery of the creation of the universe and the battle against the powerful enemy Dark Savant are finally coming to an end. Similar to the previous game, players form a party of 6 adventurers (11 races, 15 occupations) to explore a 3D world, but the party now has up to 8 members with the addition of 2 new NPCs. The formation also moved from the front and rear to the center of the front, back, left and right. Additionally, the skill system has been refined, making the abilities of each profession more noticeable.
What is noteworthy is that the game system is now a full 3D real-time system. During your adventure, time passes in real time, and NPCs and enemies approach you, giving you an excellent sense of realism. Battles are now turn-based with symbol encounters. During battle, there are enemies that will attack you from a distance from a distance, and you can also move during battle, so unlike previous battles, you can enjoy battles that take into account the concepts of distance and positioning.
