With the hope that children will develop a rich heart, we aim to educate children on the themes of “the importance of the natural environment,” “connections between people,” and “the importance of life.” We have selected books that will help children learn, think deeply, and take action as part of the “Mitsubee Bunko” and donate them to elementary schools across the country. Donation recipients will be selected through a lottery after soliciting donations from the public through newspapers and websites. Books are donated along with a message card from the applicant. According to the “Survey on the current state of school libraries (announced on July 29, 2021)” published by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the percentage of elementary schools that have achieved library standards is 71.2%, which means that approximately 30% of elementary schools There aren’t enough books in the library.
