(President: Kentaro Kubota/Head Office: Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture), will hold an event on Saturday, May 11th. At the “VECAS AWARD 2023” sponsored by VECAS (=Vietnam Construction Consultants Association) held in Nha Trang, Vietnam, a wooden model house constructed in collaboration with IBST (=Vietnam Institute of Construction Science and Technology under the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam) was awarded. This model house was built in collaboration with IBST to commemorate IBST’s 60th anniversary. Through this model house, we will conduct various evaluations and verifications, and aim to develop the design and technology of wooden frame structure models that are suitable for Vietnam, and to develop wooden design standards to enable wooden construction in Vietnam.
