anniversary since its start of operation. To commemorate, we will hold a talk event “Exploring Marketing x Community Born in Yokohama” on Friday, June 21, 2024, inviting luxurious guests.

G Innovation Hub YOKOHAMA is now in its sixth year since opening, and as a hub that stimulates innovation, it has become a place where residents from a variety of occupations and industries gather, valuing real interaction. Currently, about 100 companies, freelancers, and creators are occupying the space. The project team at the time of GIHY’s founding started working with local people based in Kannai, and it has now grown into a hub for the local community that connects residents and people in the area. From 2023, with the keyword “work in Kannai,” it will also play the role of a local community hub and develop as a “regional human resource mobility base.”
In recent years, due to the diversification of media and communication tools, there are many marketing methods, but we have begun to hear from business people living at GIHY that their work tends to be intangible. We also often hear about the difficulties of marketing with limited PR budgets for small and medium-sized businesses and startups. At this event, we will discuss how to make the world aware of your company’s products and services. Starting from this, we will hold an event where we will hear from business leaders who have transformed marketing and actually expanded their brands.

In Yokohama, an open port city where diverse cultures and people from all over the world have interacted, “people who want to create something in Yokohama and people who want to make it happen” such as people working in Yokohama, local people, companies and local governments, interact, connect, and create “innovation”. We aim to create a shared office/coworking space that will become a “HUB that inspires people.”
