We will be holding a photography course on model photography on June 30th (Sunday) at Kenko Tokina 7th floor seminar room (2F, 5-68-10 Nakano, Nakano-ku, Tokyo). The first part is 12:30-14:30, the second part is 15:30-17:30, the participation fee is 8,000 yen, and the capacity is 8 people.

Mr. Nobuyuki Baba calls it “photography of women” rather than portraiture because it is “photography that depicts women in a single picture.” In the lecture (30 minutes at the beginning of each part), the teacher will talk about writing and techniques unique to him. Part 1: Lighting 1. “How to find good light and how to make the most of it when photographing with natural light”
When taking photos of women, you first want to take them using only the light of the scene. Therefore, we will talk about how to use light such as on a sunny day, on a cloudy day, under the eaves, near a window, and indoor light to take photos, and have you actually take photos indoors.

A flash is necessary in areas where there is no good light, but using a flash straight on will brighten the skin and create sharper shadows. We will talk about flash photography that gives you natural-looking photos that you won’t believe were taken using a flash, and let you experience it for yourself.

Born in 1944. Studied cameras and lenses at Minoru Tamura’s laboratory at Chiba University. Joined Gakken and produced many cameras for special photography in the photography department. He was also involved in the launch of CAPA, and is mainly responsible for articles on mechanisms and techniques. After serving as deputy editor of “CAPA” and editor-in-chief of “Video CAPA,” he became independent as a freelancer in 1991. He is also gaining popularity for teaching photo sessions.
