On the final day of the original art exhibition, there will be a special live music event and an autograph session with Minako Kusaka and Mio Hashimoto!

An exhibition of original art to commemorate the release of Micro Magazine’s picture book “You Are There” will be held at the general store “moln” in Kamakura from July 4th (Thursday).

During the period, in addition to selling picture books, Tomio Hashimoto will be selling books for this exhibition.
We will also sell specially drawn reproductions of the original paintings, Solgraphs.
This is signed and serial numbered and limited to 30 pieces. On Sunday, July 21st, the last day of the original art exhibition, we will be exhibiting with Kenji Kondo, a musician who lives with two rescue cats.
Created by Yusuke Igarashi’s unit Fishing with John, whose cat Mirubo was the model for a picture book.
A special live performance will also be held. (The performance is scheduled to last approximately 2 hours.)
After the show, there will be an autograph session with picture book authors Minako Kusaka and Mio Hashimoto.
(Picture books “Because You Are Here” purchased at the venue on the day of the event are eligible.)
Enjoy a special music experience in a space filled with cat love. Reservations for the live performance on July 21st (Sunday) will start from 12:00 on June 12th (Wednesday).

Author introduction
Written by: Minako Kusaka
A picture book writer who does both writing and drawing. He lives with his rescued cats, Pino and Mona, in the suburbs of Tokyo.
Born in Miyagi Prefecture, graduated from Sophia University, Department of English Literature, member of Dobiren. His major books include “Ichinichi Panda” (written by Kenta Otsuka, Shogakukan), “Morineko” (illustration: Saori Shinada, Bunken Publishing), “When You were Born” (Illustration: Kaori Yokosuka, Shogakukan), “Cat Bath” (Illustration: Yuka Kitamura, Alicekan),

A sculptor whose studio is set up in an old warehouse in Mie Prefecture, where he creates wood carvings of animals as they are. The material is camphor tree. Modeled after animals that live or have lived in this world,
