The transformation of business into DX is progressing, and efficiency is being improved mainly in mission-critical operations that handle a large number of cases. On the other hand, although the number of cases is not large, small, non-routine tasks have not been systemized from a cost-effectiveness perspective, creating a burden on staff. In recent years, local governments have been faced with the issue of an increase in the turnover of young employees and a decrease in the number of employees. We want to improve the efficiency of complicated analog work and improve the work environment and quality of work. ■Why is low-code development using Microsoft 365 effective in improving the efficiency of non-routine work? As mentioned earlier, introducing a business system often requires a large amount of cost and operation time, and from a cost-effectiveness perspective, there is a tendency for business systems that handle a small number of cases to become less systematized. Therefore, we recommend low-code development using Microsoft 365*. The number of local governments nationwide that are considering the introduction of Microsoft 365 is increasing year by year, but it seems that they are only using email, Teams, etc. By using Microsoft 365’s low-code application development tools, it is possible to systematize a wide variety of non-routine tasks, which have traditionally been postponed due to cost-effectiveness, at a relatively low cost. *Methods and tools for developing applications using simple operations such as drag and drop without writing code as much as possible. ■Introducing detailed demonstrations of developed applications and implementation examples At NTT East, we not only introduce Microsoft 365, but also utilize Microsoft 365 after the introduction to support the development of applications in line with the business issues of each local government. DX personnel at branches across eastern Japan will provide support, including operational support for establishment. During the webinar, we will introduce case studies of local governments that have been supported by NTT East and provide explanations along with demonstrations of the applications we have developed.
