NEXCO Central Japan Tokyo Branch (Minato-ku, Tokyo, Yasuyuki Matsui, Branch Manager) is holding a summer expressway tour for elementary school students called “Look at the Highway! Look! Tours” in order to give children a closer look at expressways. will be held in all seven districts of Kanagawa and Shizuoka prefectures, starting from July 25th.
This tour includes a tour of the construction site of the E1A Shin-Tomei Expressway (Shin-Tomei Expressway), a hands-on experience of the work and equipment that protects the safety and security of the E1 Tomei Expressway (Tomei Expressway), and a special test drive of cars working on the expressway. This is a very popular tour that allows you to enjoy and learn about the behind-the-scenes side of expressways that you can’t usually see. If you wish to participate, please apply on the NEXCO Central Japan official website between June 10th and July 1st, 2024 (Monday) (If there are many applications, a lottery will be held). Please note that some tours will be open to members of the press. Further details will be announced around the end of June.

*Capacity is the number of applicants including accompanying persons. *In order to ensure safety during the tour, infants and preschoolers other than the eligible participants are not allowed to accompany the tour.
