*A complex facility that promotes encounters, exchanges, and co-creation as a new hub for the Yokohama area*

YOKOHAMA FRONT” is a complex facility jointly established on the top 42nd floor to support business co-creation in the Yokohama area.

With the diversification of lifestyles and the evolution of digital technology, new ways of thinking and movements toward the future are required and are beginning to emerge. In the Yokohama area as well, people and communities are starting up and working to tackle various local issues, but by supporting these people and organizations to connect and work together, we can increase the possibilities of their activities. I think the impact will spread further. And isn’t the location, which is directly connected to Yokohama Station, which boasts the highest number of railway companies in Japan and one of the highest passenger numbers in Japan, the perfect place for this purpose? From this perspective, Vlag has become a hub spot for the region, including not only Kanagawa but also the Tokyo area, and a place to support business co-creation for a better future and a better life.

Up until now, UDS has been involved in a wide variety of projects, including workspaces, hotels, and restaurants, from planning to design and operation from an end-user perspective, with an emphasis on connections with the local community. His achievements were recognized and Vlag
We have been involved in yokohama from the planning stage. We will organize regional issues, aspirations, and user needs, propose business plans, and provide space design and project management to realize them. After opening, we will operate the entire facility together with Sotetsu and Tokyu. .

As a space that supports the creation of words and ideas, we used a lot of wood and used colors that were conscious of Yokohama’s sea, forests, and town, creating a design that is comfortable and gives you a sense of Yokohama’s history. Unique greenery has been installed throughout the property to encourage relaxation and refreshment that promotes communication. UDS handled everything from furniture selection, design, production, and delivery.

A members-only space with approximately 2,000 books selected by Hiraku Co., Ltd., which created “Bookstore with Admission Fees: Bunkitsu” and “Book Hotel: Hakonebako.” You can work, read, relax, or whatever you want while looking at the scenery from 160 meters above ground. Sotetsu/Tokyu/UDS

The Sky Lounge is open to anyone from morning until night. It is planned as a communication space where visitors from outside, working lounge members, office users, and hall/studio users can mingle. The store name mequ comes from the “~meku” which evokes hopeful and futuristic words such as “flash”, “shimmer”, and “spring”, and we aim to be a “place where you can feel good about your feelings” and where conversation will be lively and your mood will be lifted. An event space consisting of a studio (with kitchen) that anyone can use with advance reservations. Equipped with a 210-inch projector and screen, it can accommodate up to 135 people. With a ceiling height of 7.5m and an open atmosphere that takes advantage of the glass-enclosed view, it can be used for a wide range of gatherings such as social gatherings and seminars.
